Veteran actress M. Saroja, who ruled Kollywood with her acting for decades is no more.

Saroja is wife of veteran actor K.A.Thangavelu, the hit pair made wibes with many blockbusters in their career, one among them is Kalyana Parisu. The duo got married at the Murugan temple, in Madurai during the 100th day celebrations of Kalyana Parisu. The veteran actress Saroja has passed away due to cardiac arrest at her residence in T Nagar.

There is no such actor who has not acted with Saroja in her era. Saroja was a perfect actress who had learnt dance, sword fights and even horse-riding as a preparation to become an actress. This busy actress used to act in 3 shifts per day for different films. Sarvadhikari was her first release with NTR in the lead, further the veteran actress had shifted to Chennai and did more than 300 films in her career only with her best half K.A.Thangavelu apart from these Saroja also played the female lead beside MGR, Sivaji Ganesan and other top actors of her time.
