Aishwarya Dhanush is happy and smiling. Her directorial debut starring Dhanush and Sruthi Haasan 3 has been chosen for the prestigious New York Indian Film Festival from May 23 to 27.

3 has been chosen along with three other Tamil films Azhagarsamiyin Kudirai directed by Suseenthiran, Aadukalam directed by Vetrimaran and SM Raju directed Varnam.

Aishwarya will be leaving for New York Indian Film Festival today night. She spoke to kollyinsider.com: “I am so happy and excited and consider it an honour that my debut as a director has paid off well. I am looking forward to be at the festival from 23rd to 27th in New York and spend time with my family friends there.”
