SA Chandrasekhar almost managed a casting coup, as Reema Sen, Karthika and Piaa were to share the same frame with the young hot 'n' happening star Vikram Prabhu in the remake of 1981 classic Sattam Oru Iruttarai.

But we now hear that the film is kept on the backburner as SAC is looking out for a newcomer to replace Vikram, who has walked out of the film. Buzz is that there is a consequence of both Reema and Karthika too opting out of the project.

Karthika who is extremely choosy about the films she signs, agreed to do Sattam Oru Iruttarai thinking that she would be cast opposite Vikram but now when he is replaced by a newcomer, the actress has decided to make an exit.

Sources close to Reema who was to play a crucial role and shot for over 10 days in Pondicherry with Vikram, say that she is also not too pleased with the recent development. The actress who is out of the country was unavailable for comment.
