Kollywood screens are gearing up with 4 Tamil films seeing day light today [June 1, 2012]. Arun Vijay’s Thadaiyara Thaakka, Siva Karthieyan starred Manam Kothi Paravai, Vendhan directed Mayanginen Thayanginen and Ramki’s directorial venture Idhayam Thiraiarangam.

Thadaiyara Thaakka is an action entertainer that casts Arun Vijay, Mamta Mohandas and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles that is hitting the big screens today. Thadaiyara Thaakka was directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the former associate of Gautham Menon and has music tunes composed by Thaman. 

The other movie seeing the lime light today is, Ezhil directed Manam Kothi Paravai is a romantic-comedy flick featuring Siva Karthikeyan and Athmiya in the lead roles. Interestingly D. Imman has composed 8 tracks for Manam Kothi Paravai written by lyricist Yugabharathi.

Along with these films Anand and Swetha starred Idhayam Thiraiarangam directed by Ramki, a former assistant of SA Chandrasekhar is also marking its release today [June 1, 2012].  Supportingly Vijay’s mother Shobha has crooned a special number along with folk singer Jayamurthy in the composition of Mariya Manohar. It is to be noted that all the four films are censored with U certificate, so that viewers can go watch the movies in theaters along with their families. However Mayanginen Thayanginen directed by Vendhan has been demanded by the censor board to have 100 cuts along with 10 dialogues to be muted for the U certificate. Nithin Sathya and Disha Pandey are playing the lead roles in this unsual love story Mayanginen Thayanginen.
