The buzz is that, actor-director Parthepan will be playing Naseeruddin Shah’s character from The Dirty Picture in Kannada director Trishul’s The Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga, starring Veena Malik in the lead.


Trishul says, “We have approached Parthiepan for the role. We have received a green signal from him and will be getting the confirmation in a couple of days.”

And while the director claims that his film will be an honest attempt to showcase Silk’s life, he has not sought permission from her family.
