Dhanush turns 29 today, who was born on 28, July 1983 in Chennai. Dhanush is son of Kasthoori Raja and brother of director Selvaraghavan has started his film career in 2002 with Thulluvadho Ilamai and so far entertained Tamil audiences with 23 films, but received National award for Aadukalam in 2011 and also got international reputation with his Kolaveri di track in the same year.

Simbhu threw a rocking surprise birthday bash for him at an upmarket resto-bar in the city on Friday night.

The place was decorated with balloons and was crowded with guests supposedly comprising of family, close friends and co-stars of Dhanush. The actor who walked into the place was truly surprised and was speechless for few moments. He cut a huge cake which had a rooster on top.

Dhanush wife Aishwarya, his sisters, Sarathkumar & Radhika, Santhanam, Tamannaah, Vetrimaran, Anirudh, Jai, Vijay Yesudas, Premji, Amala, Narain, Parvathy were the celebs spotted at the party.
