Karu Palaniappan will engage Ameer as Director for his movie, Pandiya Vamsam. Raj Kiran will be apart of the movie.
 Director Karu Pazhaniappan is all set to direct Ameer and Raj Kiran in a film titled Pandiya Vamsam. The director forayed in to the Tamil film industry with Parthiban Kanavu which won him the state award under the best director category.

He then went on to direct films like Sivappathigaram, Pirivom Santhippom, Mandhira Punnagai and Sathurangam. In Mandhira Punnagai Karu Pazhaniappan had donned the greasepaint as the main lead as well.

His Sathurangam went on to win the state award for best scriptwriter.

Another Karu Palaniappan movie, announced earlier, titles ASHOKAMITRAN, with Arulnidhi has been dropped.
