Director Krish, whose Vaanam was critically acclaimed, is extremely excited about his next project Ongaram. “I’m trying out a new genre with this film.
Ongaram will be a travel-adventure with Rana playing a theater artist and Nayanthara a documentary film maker. Rana plays a self-centered guy and Nayan a selfless woman.”

The film is based on real incidents and is about land-mafia. The story is set on the backdrop of Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border. The film has been titled Krishnam Vande Jagathgurum in Telugu. The climax of the film was shot recently in a temple set erected in Chennai.
