It was in Muran, Rajan Madhav’s debut film, that brought the director and actor Prasanna together. The film, which was based on Alfred Hitchcock’s Strangers On A Train, saw the unassuming actor play the role of a calculating villain.


Now, the duo is coming together again for a film. “Finally my friend, Muran dir Rajan Madhav, finished penning the next script & narrated it to me. Kickass film it will be. super excited (sic),” Prasanna tweeted on his micro-blogging page and added, “Me & a gang of super talented actors will be the cast. Will reveal names after official confirmations.”

While Muran might not have set the box office on fire, it earned enough critical praise despite being inspired from a Hollywood film. Now, let’s hope this new film from the friends clicks with both the public and the critics.
