Priya Anand’s film in Toronto film festival

It looks like 2012 has been a great year for starlet Priya Anand. She’s been signing some interesting films in the south and has also signed her second Hindi film. Her latest feather in the cap is that her debut film English Vinglish will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The film, which has Sridevi in it as well, is scheduled to be screened at the film festival this year. And, needless to say, Priya is extremely ecstatic about this development. English Vinglish, which is directed by R Balki’s wife Gauri Shinde, has already got many people eagerly awaiting its release since it marks Sridevi’s comeback to the big screen after a gap of nearly 15 years.

Priya, meanwhile, has been busy shooting in Mumbai for her second Bollywood flick Rangrez. The film is being directed by Priyadarshan and it has young actor Jackky Bhagnani playing her hero in the film. Rangrez, coincidentally, is the remake of the superhit Tamil film Nadodigal, which is a tale about friendship and love.
In Kollywood, Priya has a film opposite Siva Karthikeyan lined up, which is being produced by Dhanush. With so much happening for her, the Nootrenbadhu actress surely has no reason to complain.
