Director SS Rajamouli has said that it is embarrassing that Chatrapati has been named Chandramouli in Tamil and to see his face on the posters.

Rajamouli’s first direct Tamil flick Naan Ee turned out to be a huge hit and following its success, it has been decided to dub the smash hit Chatrapati, which was released in 2005 in Tamil.

The film stars Prabhas, Shriya Saran and Banu Priya in the lead roles with several others included in the star cast. Chatrapati fetched the prestigious Nandi award for Banu Priya under the Best Supporting Actress category and the Best Music Director award for MM Keeravani.
