Now, before you jump to conclusions, let’s tell you that the pretty actress has not signed on any new film with the Naan Ee director.


In fact, we are talking about the Telugu film Chhatrapati, one of the earliest films of S S Rajamouli with Shriya, that’s all set to be dubbed into Tamil and released soon.

Satish, who’s acquired the Tamil dubbing rights for the film, will be releasing the film as Chandramouli in September.

He says, “The film released in Telugu in 2005, and had Prabhas and Shriya playing the lead. It’s about a young man who gets separated from his family in his childhood and how he faces a bunch of goons in a port. It’s an action entertainer, laced with family sentiments. All the songs, composed by Keeravani, had been superhits then. I’m sure that after Maaveeran and the latest film with Samantha, Sudeep and Nani, this film will also be a successful outing for Rajamouli in Tamil.”
