Rana Daggubati to join in Ajith-Vishnuvardhan film?

Tollywood star Rana Daggubati, is said to be making his foray into Tamil with a bilingual directed by Krish of Vaanam fame). However, sources tell that he will be seen in a powerful role in Ajith's untitled film with director Vishnuvardhan.


This movie also marks the return of Nayanthara in Tamil after her year-long sabbatical. Arya and Taapsee will also be a part of the ensemble cast of this movie being produced by A.M. Ratnam.
Word is that Vishnu had met Rana and narrated a fascinating portion of the script and explained to him that he is the right person to carry it off convincingly.

Apparently, the Dum Maro Dum star was happy and has agreed to give a formal nod soon. Even in an earlier interview, Rana had said that he was keen to work in Tamil films.

"I was born and brought up in Chennai and did my early schooling here. I am fluent in Tamil. I would love to do Kollywood films if a good script comes in my way," he had said.

Interestingly, Nayan is also his costar in Krish's film, which is titled Ongaram in Tamil and Krishnam Vande Jagadhgurum in Telugu. The climax action sequence of Ongaram is being shot in Binny Mills.
