In Kollywood, look-alikes of actors have been used in comic roles. But, probably for the first time, two MGR look-alikes have starred in a film, which seems like a rehash of the veteran actor’s film!

A source states, “One of MGR’s famous films in Ulagam Sutrum Vaaliban, which had Latha, Manjula, Asokan, Manohar, Nambiar and Nasser in the lead. Now, A R Lalithasamy has come up with a movie, Valiban Sutrum Ulagam, with MGR Siva and MGR Hari in the lead.”

Surprisingly, the film’s crew list reels out names of Mellisai Mannan M S Viswanathan and lyricist Vaali. The track list also has some of the biggest hits in the industry, including Unnan Naan Sandithen… and Thendral Ini…, sung by S P Balasubrahmaniyam, Chitra and Susheela.

Wonder if the film’s a spoof of sorts!
