Recently there were reports in the media that, Ilayathalapathy Vijay is being roped in to replace Salman Khan in the remake of Bollywood blockbuster 'Ek Tha Tiger'.

And a section of them have reportedly said Jayam Raja, who has acquired success with remake films earlier will be directing this venture too.

Now Raja has took out some of his time to deny these reports. The ace director Jayam Raja said, there are no plans to remake Ek Tha Tiger and with Vijay instead. Ek Tha Tiger has got a huge success worldwide and has collected 199+Crores till date breaking even the records of '3 Idiots'.

However, while Jayam Raja has denied the Tamil remake some sources say a leading Tollywood producer has bought the Telugu remake rights. Nothing is confirmed as of now and viewers have to wait a while for the official announcements about Ek Tha Tiger remake.
