They even sang Dhanush’s viral rage Kolaveri on stage together, thus giving rise to speculation that the two have made up and became friends. Subsequently, the two partied together. The recent surprise party organised by Simbu to celebrate Dhanush’s
birthday is an indication that they’re bonding big-time.
The two friends got into an ugly spat after a party, in which Manoj also allegedly threatened to kill Mahath. The fight was reportedly about Taapsee, who was once close to Mahath and had subsequently become friendly with Manoj. In fact, Mahath even filed an FIR against the Telugu actor. After a couple of days, the two patched up, with both announcing that ‘it was just an ego clash’ and that they’ll remain friends!
The cold war between the then good friends began when Trisha replaced Nayanthara in Kuruvi, and continued through several incidents, including the choice of brand ambassador for the city team in a cricket tournament and fashion show of a certain designer. But, the equation between the reigning queens of Kollywood changed overnight when they recently met at an awards function. Nayan and Trisha not only exchanged pleasantries, but also hugged each other and partied through the night. Hope the girls are back to their friends-for-life self again!
