Maatraaan will have a good dose of glamour too.The film has Surya, playing double roles as a pair of conjoined twins and Kajal Aggarwal playing his love interest. The lead duo have shot in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ooty and Latvia (Russia).

Two hot Russian models will accompany Surya for a mission in the film. This particular task is executed in Russia itself where Surya finds himself surrounded by beauties Irina Maleeva and Julia Bliss. Julia has already made her Bollywood entry in the film Ghost and now she has her debut Tamil film at hand in Maatraan. Apart from the two hot Russian girls , Maatraan also has Zeodinis a Russian Artist in the film.

Music for the film is by Harris Jayaraj who joins KV Anand after their hit in Ayan. Maatraan will have a grand audio launch on August 9th in Singapore. The mastering and mixing of the album was done in US. The final master has been delivered to Sony Music and there are 5 songs in the album. Fans will know that Maatraan is the only other Kolywood release apart from Kochadaiyaan, to incorporate performance capture technology. Given the Harris-Surya-Anand combo and the glamour from Russia, this forthcoming action-entertainer is generating a lot of buzz.
