From time to time, villain actor Mansoor Ali Khan indulges in film-making and more often than not, he plays the lead role himself.
The actor has had a tumultuous career in films which has witnessed many ups and downs. Even in personal life, he has faced many a crisis and his passion to remain an actor has kept him going all these years.
Mansoor, through his Raja Kennedy Films, has launched a new film titled Lollu Dada Parak Parak (LDPP). Of late, Mansoor has turned into a ‘comedy villain’ (as witnessed in Thillalangadi) from a serious villain. LDPP has a debutant heroine Shilpa debuting opposite Mansoor who produces the film at a medium budget.
Mansoor has also scored the film’s music besides penning all the lyrics in the film. Not many are aware that there is a creative music director hiding behind his tough on-screen persona. His decision to score the music and pen the lyrics has stunned many of his close friends within and outside the industry.
As many as 30 comedians, including Nellai Siva, ‘Bonda’ Mani, ‘Crane’ Manohar, Pava Lakshmanan, Vaiyapuri, ‘Scissor’ Manohar, Vengalrao, Subburaj, Krishnamoorthy and Kullamani have been roped to star in the film which is cinematographed by Vetri and edited by Kesavan. Vijayalakshmi and Vasu have choreographed the song sequences.
Jayakumar would be directing the film which has been progressing at a brisk pace. Dates for the film’s audio-launch as well as its theatrical release would be announced later.
