Comedian Senthil, who formed a successful association with veteran comedian Goundamani and starred with him in more than 100 films, returns to action after a long and self-imposed hiatus. Actress, who has been in the news more for incidents occurring on the personal front than on the professional front, plays a pivotal role in the film.
Besides Senthil, the film has an ‘army’ of comedians in the form of M.S. Bhakar, Singampuli, Singamuthu, Mayilsamy and Muthukkalai. Others in the cast include T.P. Gajendran, ‘Kadhal’ Sugumar, Tamil Selvi, ‘Karate’ Raja, Subburaj, Nellai Siva, Nithya, Richa, Ankita and Mamta.
Muraleedharan is the cinematographer of SN while V. Rajagloapal pens the film’s dialogues. V. Manohar is the music director of the film whose lyrics are penned by the trio of Yugabarathi, Vivegaa and Venu Gunasekar. Ramamurthy would be penning the story and screenplay besides directing the film.
Though a debutant director vis-à-vis Kollywood films, Ramamurthy possesses mammoth experience in film-making as he has already directed as many as 59 films in Kannada. He says about SN: “I have taken up humour as the main ‘theme’ of the film and I can assure that viewers can forget all their personal worries and laugh their hearts out for the two-and-a-half hours when they flock to theatres to watch my film!”
