There have been numerous rumours floating around online that Suriya has been approached by Kamal Haasan to be a part of his Hollywood film, which will be produced by noted Hollywood producer Barrie Osborne, who has acclaimed movies like The Lord Of The Rings trilogy.

When we contacted Kamal’s spokesperson on this, he strongly refuted these reports and stated that the Hollywood film that the Ulaganayagan is planning is a single hero subject and that role will be played by Kamal.

“These reports are 200% wrong. Kamal is currently busy, concentrating on giving final touches to Viswaroopam and is yet to begin any pre-production work including casting on the Hollywood film. He has not approached Suriya to play a role in the film.

Considering that the film has only one lead character, why would he approach Suriya when he will be acting in and directing that film?” he asked and added, “Such reports are the works of arm chair journalists who want to grab eyeballs with such sensational and incorrect news.”
