Following director Vishnuvardhan’s brother Krishna who made a mark as an actor in Tamil, A.R. Murugadoss is launching his brother Dileepan in a film titled Vatthikuchi. 
The title is inspired by the first line of Thala Ajith’s chartbuster song Vatthikuchi Patthikichuda from Dheena, which was ARM’s debut film.

Anjali, who has become a hot favorite of ARM after Engeyum Eppodhum, will play the female lead in Theekuchi, which will be directed by Kinslin.

The film set in Chennai is about people living on the outskirts of the city who travel for more than 30 km to reach Chennai using the shared autos.

Dileepan plays an auto driver and Anjali plays a tough girl, who travels on these shared autos. She plays a middle class girl Meena who changes her name to Leena and spends time in malls and coffee shops like a city youth.
