As we all know, Thala Ajith is busy with his untitled flick with Vishnuvardhan, which has Nayantara, Arya, Taapsee in the cast.

Earlier we got the news that Ajith may play Rajini's role in Chandramukhi 2. But now, if sources are to believed, the actor may be roped in for the sequel of Chandramukhi along with Superstar Rajinikanth.

Rajinikanth, who played the lead in the blockbuster Chandramukhi , is said to be doing a cameo as himself in this sequel that is entitled as ‘Chandramukhi 2’. The talks are very much on for Chandramukhi 2, but the project is still in its initial stages and its learnt, might take some time to take shape. The superstar is waiting for the release of his Kochadaiyaan by this year end.

Chandramukhi, directed by P Vasu, was a launch pad for Nayantara in Telugu and Tamil languages beside earnign great accolades to Jyothika for her performance. Vadivelu's comedy also was a talking point of the movie.
