Actress Anjali is on the fast lane, for sure. The actress, widely considered by many to be the ‘best’ among the present crop of actresses in terms of acting, narrowly missed out a couple of years ago on winning the national award for best actress for her convincing portrayal of a counter salesgirl in Vasanthabalan’s Angaadi Theru.
In 2011, she was part of the Ajit’s Mankatha and was the heroine of Engeyum Eppodhum.

Among her many projects in Kollywood, she plays a significant role in the film titled Vathikuchi which would witness the debut as hero of director-producer Murugadoss’ younger brother Dileepan. As she does more often than not, Anjali worked at a terrific speed and has reportedly completed her part in the film. With a Telugu film opposite Venkatesh in the kitty, Anjali’s call-sheet diary is said to be overflowing at presen.

She is ready to accommodate dates and make ‘adjustments’ in her call-sheet schedule only if she’s approached to star in films made by legendary and recognized directors. Anjali is grateful to Murugadoss for making her part of Engeyum Eppodhum which won her many accolades for a memorable role. As a means of gratitude, she agreed to star in and completed her part of the shoot in Vathikuchi in quick time.

Anjali is all set to star alongside Vishal in his upcoming film titled Madha Gaja Raja (MGR) which also has Varalakshmi Sarathkumar as the other heroine. The film is directed by Sundar C, who tasted success early this year as director with the comic centure Kalakalappu which had Anjali playing one of the heroines along with Oviya.
