The work connected with Biryani which has Karthi in the lead role has begun. Venkat Prabhu is directing this film. Initially Richa was supposed to pair with Karthi. Now Venkat Prabhu has casted Anushka instead of Richa.

It is understood that Anushka has been paid a salary of Rs 65 Lakhs to act in this film. Anushka is currently donning the female lead role in the film Thandavam, Erandam Ulagam, Alex Pandian and Singam 2. Apart from this, she has also been signed for a new Tamil film which has Ajith in the lead role.

The shooting of the film Thandavam and Erandam Ulagam has been completed. Thandavam will be hitting the screens on 28th of this month. The film Erandam Ulagam is being released next month. Anushka is now become number one actress of the Tamil film industry. So far her salary was Rs 50 Lakhs. She has increased her salary now. Telugu film offers also are being heaped on her. She has temporarily stopped acting in Telugu films since she is busy in Tamil films.
