The director of Kandha Kottai S Sakthivel is back with a bang with a movie titled Ego. It may be recalled that Kandha Kottai starring Nakul, Poorna and Santhanam was an average grosser at the box office. Ego stars newcomer Velu as hero. He is an engineer who graduated from USA.

Anaswara plays as the heroine. Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal fame Bala plays the comedian. Cinematography is A V Vasanth and Kash Villanz has composed the songs. Dhina has scored the background music. Cable Sankar has written the dialogues.
