Arjun will start shooting for a new film titled Peralai, which is to be directed by debutant GK, a former associate of K S Adhiyaman.

The movie, according to a press release, will be produced by a new banner called Isai Pictures. Besides wielding the megaphone, GK is penning the story and screenplay too.

Arjun, who was shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Kadal and A M R Ramesh’s Vana Yudhdham, was thoroughly impressed after listening to the script of Peralai and has given bulk dates to the movie.

Nandana, who played the female lead in Krishnaveni Panjalai, will be the heroine of the movie. Bala, Sanjana Singh and director Raj Kapoor will be seen in crucial roles.
