Actress Thamanna has alleged that there is big conspiracy in Tami film industry to prevent her from acting in Tamil films. Thamanna made her debut through the Tamil film Kedi in the year 2005. She was aged only 16 at that time.

Though her first film was a flop, she became very popular through her next film titled Kaloori. Later one she continued to pair with Dhanush and Bharath. The film Ayan in which she paired with Surya got her the status of number one.

In 2012, she became very popular by pairing with all the big actors. She paired with Karthi in Paiyaa and Siruthai. All of a sudden she did not get offers in Tamil. Thamanna is now one of the leading actresses in the Telugu film industry. She is currently acting in three Telugu films. She is also currently acting in one Hindi film.

Apart from this she has also been signed for two more Hindi films. One of the Hindi film is the remake of the Tamil film Ramana which had Vijayakanth in the lead role. In spite of all this, she does not have one single Tamil film in her hand. She is telling her close friends that Tamil film industry is boycotting her and moreover she has alleged that someone is preventing her from getting offers.

She while speaking about this said, "I am very much interested to act in Tamil films but I don’t know whether this be fulfilled because someone who is against me is preventing me from getting Tamil offers."
