The pretty Sonia Aggarwal has signed on the dotted line to star opposite comedian Vivek who plays the title role in a film titled Palakkad Madhavan.
Veteran writer- actor-director K. Bhagyaraj, who has earlier played a character Palakkad Madhavan in the movie Andha 7 Naatkal will be writing the script for the film which will have a photo-shoot and press meet on September 29 in Chennai.

Palakkad Madhavan will be directed by Chandra Mohan, whose debut film Soundarya, will release in October.

Sonia told us: "I liked the script which is a family entertainer with lots of humour." 

Veteran actress Sheela is playing an important character in the film which will be shot near Tiruchi from next month.
