Soaring high on buzz, the movie Thaandavam is the mega release this Friday, September 28, and the fans of Vikram can’t wait to watch their hero on big screen after Deiva Thirumagal. So, what makes Thaandavam so special?
Thaandavam tells the story of a RAW agent, played by Vikram, who avenges the injustice done to him. He will be seen playing a double role in the film. One of the roles is that of a blind man with the ability to echo-locate objects. The audiences will be up for a surprise to see a blind Vikram, capable of echolocating and fighting the baddies with utter ease.
Vikram’s dual character is the USP of the film. He has never looked this handsome, and for the first time is romancing the gorgeous Amy Jackson on screen. However, Vikram has another heroine too. The pretty Anushka Shetty plays his wife in the film.
To act like a blind man with the rare gift of echolocation, Vikram underwent a special training under the mentorship of Daniel Kish, an expert in human echo-location, who also plays a cameo in Thaandavam.
Directed by A L Vijay, the movie also stars Jagapati Babu, Lakshmi Rai, Santhanam and Nassar. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the movie has music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, and it is dubbed as Shiva Thaandavam in Telugu. But the Telugu version will not release this week, to avert the clash with another Telugu release Rebel.
