Ilayathalapathy Vijay and AR Murgadoss are planning to shoot the last two songs for their Thupakki in Mumbai.
The song shoot is happening in Mumbai for the convenience of its lead actors and technicians. Dance director Shobhi would be choreographing the songs in the busy streets of Mumbai.

First and foremost it is very difficult to get Kajal Aggarwal`s date, as she has been shooting songs in various parts of the globe for her Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. Last month, they had a tough time as Kajal dates went awry and she could only spare three days for the Switzerland shoot with Vijay.
Cameraman Santosh Sivan also could not manage his dates as he was busy with Priyadarshan`s remake of Nadodigal in Hindi. `Nutty` Natraj had to be called as replacement cameraman for the Switzerland song.

Taking all this into consideration Murgadoss and Vijay have now decided to shoot both the remaining two songs in and around Mumbai. One of the songs is a Vijay introduction song which will also have a montage, to show the growth of the hero as a Mumbai Tamizhan and an encounter specialist. The other song is said to be a melody number on the lead pair.

Thupakki has music by Harris Jayaraj. Both Vijay and Harris are very excited about Thupakki album, which would be something different.
