Here is good news for fans and the viewers waiting from a long time to watch Ilayathalapathy Vijay on screens.
Vijay starrer Thuppakki is still under interim ban, yet the makers are confident that the case will soon come to an end. Though an official announcement is awaited, we hear that the producers have decided to release the film on Diwali, November 13th.

AR Murugadoss is directing this action thriller Thuppakki in the production of Kalaipuli S Thanu under his Gemini Films Circuit banner. Even when Thuppakki is waiting to resolve its title issue with Kalla Thuppakki, the distribution rights of the movie were sold to corresponding producers and Harris Jayaraj composed Thuppakki music album will be released sometime in the later half of this Sep.

SVR Media, who have released Ajith's Billa 2 as "David Billa" in AP has bought the Telugu rights of Thuppakki. While Bangalore Srikanth, a leading Tamil distributor in Karnataka has now bagged the rights of both Suriya's Maatran releasing on Oct 12th followed by Vijay's Thuppakki on Nov 13th.
