Anushka the beautiful actress, who has done successful female oriented films such as much claimed Arundhathi, has signed yet another untitled movie with Tollywood ace director Gunasekhar.

Anushka is going to play the role as Rani Rudrama Devi in this Tamil/Telugu bilingual movie. Director Gunasekhar has announced the project quite a while before, who was in search of the lead actress and roped in Anushka after sorting out the dates, while Nayantara and Priyanka Chopra were also considered for this role before.

Gunasekhar says, "I've been working on Rudramadevi film from the release time of 'Okkadu'. There were lot of rumors earlier too but I waited for long to get the clarity on the script. It will be made on lavish budget with high technical values and the latest technology will be used. I will announce the other details of the film soon."

Rudrama Devi will be the first historical film that will be made using stereophonic sounds with huge arts being designed by Thota Tharani, costume designer Neeta Lulla, VFX works by Kamal Kannan, music by Isaignani Ilayaraja et al among the technical crew of this yet-to-be-tilted movie on Rudrama Devi. Meanwhile Anushka is busy with Karthi's Alex Pandian and Arya starring Irandam Ulagam.
