It looks like Vikram Prabhu's Kumki will not hit screens for this Deepavali. Sources close to the production unit reveal that Studio Green, who has bagged the release rights of the film, might push it to December.

Kumki is the local name for captive, trained Indian elephants. These are used mostly for taming and training of newly captured wild elephants and also to protect human settlements. The movie Kumki revolves around a mahout and his elephant. directed by Prabu Solomon, the movie is produced under the Thirrupathi brothers banner. The film also marks the debut of Prabhu's son Vikram Prabhu!
