Sivaji Ganesan’s birth anniversary is being celebrated by his family, friends, colleagues and fans today.
The legendary star was born on this day in 1927 and had acted in several films staring from Parasakthi to Padayappa. He breathed his last on July 21, 2001 at the age of 73.

His long journey in the filmdom earned him several awards including the Dada Saheb Phalke Award, Padma Bhushan, the Chevalier title, and other honors such as a doctorate and Kalaimamani award.
