Onbadhula Guru is an out and out commercial entertainer that casts Vinay, Sathyan, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash and Jagan in the lead roles. Debutant director PT Selvakumar has started rolling the caera for Onbadhula Guru.

Shriya Saran and Lakshmi Rai are playing the female leads in Onbadhula Guru that is being made with the tagline '4 Idiots'. Director Selvakumar says, "Onbadhula Guru revolves around the four friends, who go for an adventurous trip." Music director K. of Mugamoodi is roped in to score music for Onbadhula Guru.

K is excited about this comedy caper, as he is doing it after composing for serious films namely Yuddham Sei and Arohanam. Interestingly K is teaming up with lyricist Na. Muthukumar for the first time in Onbadhula Guru and has already composed a song penned by Madhan Karky.
