It looked like the controversy between director Vijay and Ponnusamy pertaining to Thaandavam script copycat would be never end. However, the inevitable issue seems to have landed into the cold waters now.



A twist in the tale happened when director Vijay came forward and expressed his interest to produce a film for Ponnusamy at a whopping budget of Rs. 4Crores.

According to the sources, the incident happened during the meeting that was organized by director Bharathiraja recently at Director’s Union.

However, it has to be seen whether the two parties – Vijay and Ponnusamy would come together after such a controversial issue.

Apart from Vijay, couple of producers have come forward and showed their concern over producing films for Ponnusamy if they’re impressed with the script.
