Rendevathu Padam is the upcoming movie and the second directorial of CS Amudhan of Thamizh Padam fame. Latest we hear is Pondicherry Police has arrested two from the crew of Rendevathu Padam for demolishing public property in the city.

It is being reported that while shooting for the movie, they have destroyed a portion of the parapet wall of a bridge built by French in 1840 across the Sankarabarani.

"Two persons were arrested under IPC section 427 [mischief causing damage to the amount of Rs.50] and section 3 [mischief causing damage to public property] for the prevention of damage to the public property act," said police Superintendent Palanivelu.

Starring Vimal, Aravind Akash, Richard, Vijayalakshmi, Remya Nambeesan, Sanjana Singh and Chetan in the lead roles, Rendevathu Padam will have the music scores composed by Kannan under Screen Crafts Entertainment banner with cinematography by Vijay Ulaganathan and editing by T. S. Suresh.
