Director and the son of producer AM Rathnam, Jyothi Krishna married Aishwarya at a grand function earlier today (November 23). The wedding was attended by some of the big names of Tamil film industry.

The marriage function was limited to family members and close friends of AM Rathnam family. Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan, maverick director Shankar, comedian Vivek, Vishnuvardhan, who is directing a film for AM Ratnam starring Ajith Kumar, Swaminathan, KR and AL Azhagappa were prominent names among guests.

The wedding was held as per the Hindu culture. While the groom sported the traditional dhoti, the bride was seen in yellow Kanchivaram silk saree. The director's younger brother and actor Ravi Krishna along with his father AM Rathnam was looking after the guests.
However, the wedding reception of newly married Jyothi Krishna and Aishwarya will be held on Monday (November 26). It has been organised at the Leela Palace hotel in Chennai and many bigwigs from South film industries are expected to attend the event.
