Pizza, a thriller movie, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Remya Nambeesan in the leads, directed by debutant Karthik Subbaraj, is high on remake rights.

The low budget film has proved a success at box office collection and has triggered for regional remake.

We hear that the film's remake rights were sold for 35 lakhs in Kannada, while 72 for Telugu remake, which is only half of the film's original budget.

Producer C V Kumar, confirmed the news and said, "Director Prashanth Raj had watched the film and was keen on buying the rights for Kannada film industry. Since we found him capable of delivering a hit like ours, we sold it to him for 35 lakh. The Telugu rights have been bought by one of the top producers from Tollywood who paid 72 lakh for it."
