Remake Rights Record

It's not very often a small budget movie sweeps you off your feet but Pizza has done exactly that. Releasing without much of a publicity, Pizza has quickly become one of the hits of the year slowly gathering commercial success and critical acclaim. The fact that neither accomplished stars or director are present in the movie did nothing to its success.

Now, the remake rights of the movie is being sold off at record prices. While regional language remake rights - including Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada - fetched enviable rates, the Hindi rights have also gone on to make record. This has also made remake rights of Pizza as one of the very few movies sold at a very high rate.
