By now we all know that Dhanush will be making his Bollywood debut with Raanjhnaa, directed by Anand Raj. The also stars Abhay Deol in another prominent role.
Now the latest is that the film will be a bilingual in Tamil-Hindi and Jiiva is likely to play Abhay's role in the Tamil version. The film has Sonam Kapoor as the leading lady.

Only a couple of weeks ago, we broke the news that Raanjhnaa will be made as a bilingual, as the makers want to cash in on Dhanush’s popularity in his home state. The makers, who were then in the search of another hero to essay the role that Abhay Deol’s playing in the Hindi version, have Jiiva as the top contender for it.

When we contacted Jiiva, he confirmed the news by telling us, “Yes, I have been approached by the team. They want me to essay the role of the other lead. But, I am yet to meet the director and hear the script.”
