Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya (KLTA) has been cleared by the censors with a ‘U’ certificate. The film which was to release on December 21 has now been pushed to January 25, for the Republic day weekend.


Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya has been given a ‘U’ certificate by the censor board. Reportedly there was not even a single cut required for the comedy entertainer.

Now Santhanam can confidently look forward to a release date in the coming days. It is great news for the crew as the actor turned producer will soon witness his banner Handmade Films taking its first step with the release. Earlier touted to hit silver screens on December 21st it seems Santhanam has decided to pitch in a slot for the Republic day in order to ensure a good turnover over the holiday weekend.

The music by Thaman has generated much attention thanks to the thumping rhythms. VTV Ganesh and Vishakha will play the lead pair in the movie which is directed by Manikandan.They will be supported by new entrant Sethu and Power Star Srinivasan.We await the release date of this comic caper.
