Karthikraja, the elder son of maestro Ilayaraja is out with an devotional album titled Andal, quite appropriately in the auspicious Tamil month of Marghazhi.
If Ilayaraja had come out with an album on Thiruvasagam before, his son has now rendered an album in praise of Vaishnavite Goddess Andal.

The highlight is that Andal has songs rendered not just by Karthikraja but also Ilayaraja, Bhavatharini and Yuvan Shankar Raja. Interestingly for the first time, Yuvan has rendered a song in a devitional album.

Plans are o to release the album in a grand manner soon.
