Following the grand success of Mankatha, Venkat Prabhu has started shooting for his next film Biriyani that is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films.
The film stars Karthi and Hansika Motwani in lead roles.

The film is a comedy-suspense drama that revolves around Karthik and Premji Amaran, Biriyani buffs, who go all the way to Ambur, the city that is famous for Biriyani, where a murder happens and they’re are held for it.
