Karthi's latest offering, Alex Pandian, which got a big opening in Tamil Nadu had an original running time of 164 minutes.
But after the Alex Pandian team watched the movie along with the audience in the theatre, they decided to trim the film to make it crispier and racier.

According to sources, at least 15 minutes of the film have been chopped off. The jungle song 'Naalu pakkam' has been removed the film.

Alex Pandian is directed by Suraaj and has Karthi and Anushka in the lead. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for the film
