Bala's guru and mentor is Balu Mahendra. So the maverick director arranged for a sneak preview of his latest Paradesi at a preview theatre. Paradesi is scheduled for a February release.
Paradesi is said to be Bala's magnum opus starring Adharvaa, Dhansika and Vedhika with music scored by GV Prakash. It is a period drama set in 1930's based on real life incidents that took place in a tea garden before independence.

It seems Balu Mahendra after watching the film hugged Bala and later spoke to him about the film. He said it is one of the best movies he has ever seen and definitely Bala's best ever.
