The curtains went up on the third season of the Celebrity Cricket League and it looks like the Chennai Rhinos have an all-new brand ambassador — Shruti Haasan. This certainly powers up the glam factor in the team, which has in the past, been supported by actresses like Amala Paul, Deeksha Seth and Sameera Reddy.

Ahead of the curtain raiser, Shruti tweeted, "Absolutely adore the Chennai Rhinos!! Such awesome boys! Proud to be the team ambassador it's going to be super fun !" Vishal remains the captain of the Chennai Rhinos this season, when they will be aiming for a hat trick. The star-studded line up includes most names from last year, including Arya, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Bharat, Vishnu, Jiiva and Shaam. Abbas will not play this year. The Bengali, Bhojpuri and Marathi film industries will also compete this year.
