It was not very long ago Shruti Haasan had walked out of the Jr. NTR-starrer Dhammu citing date issues. The film had got delayed because of various reasons and Shruti decided to make the movie.

Her decision had not gone down well with Jr NTR at that time. But the actor has put the past aside and has come forward to team up with Shruti. The film is directed by Shankar, of Gabbar Singh fame. Shruti will share screen space with Samantha in the film. The first schedule of the movie was recently concluded in Hyderabad. The movie unit had shot the introduction scenes of the hero for 9 days in the city. The actress recently celebrated her 27th birthday.
