A grand event held at Hilton today was a finale to the Boost ‘Next Cricket Star’ contest, wherein the nation was asked to vote for their choice of the next Cricket star, Virat Kohli was revealed as nation`s choice and now a Boost endorser.
The event commenced with a panel discussion with eminent cricket stars as Virender Sehwag, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Anil Kumble and John Wright. Moderated by popular cricket presenter Harsha Bhogle, the panel talked about how cricket has evolved over the years and what it takes to be a cricket star. With the immense experience and cricketing expertise of the panelists, the discussion incorporated various facets of the game and was an enriching experience for any cricket fan. The discussion aptly culminated into the unveiling of Virat Kohli; Virat is an ideal personification of the cricket star that has proven talent and holds promise.

The Boost ‘Next Cricket Star’ campaign was also joined by dancing sensation Prabhu Deva. He launched an exclusive music video ‘Dhool Tucket’ with dance steps influenced by batting styles of Sachin, Sehwag, Dhoni and thinking about who`s next? The Virat Kohli inspired dance step was also premiered at the event. Lucky winners of the contest were also present at the event and got the opportunity to meet and greet their favourite cricket stars.
