The classic creation of Director Bala’s Paradesi is all geared to hit the screens on March 15. After several postponements to find the right slot to be released, the distributors have narrowed it to March 15.

GV Prakash who scored music for the movie confirmed the news on his twitter page.

Paradesi featuring Adharvaa, Dhansika, Vedhika and Uma Riyaz Khan in lead roles is said to be inspired from Paul Harris Daniel’s English novel “Red Tea”, which talks on enslaved tea plantation workers in the British rule at the Madras presidency. The Film has received an U Certificate from the Indian Censor Board

J. Sathish Kumar’s JSK Film corporation the distributors of Aarohanam,Naduvula Konjam pakkatha kaanom is now releasing Paradesi.

The Film would also be released in North India with hindi subtitles, following Producer-Director Anurag Kashyap(director of Gangs of Wasseypur) acquiring the release and distribution rights in Noth India.

With regards to the release overseas, there seems to be confusion on the date of release, as we are being told it might be released only after the Festival De Cannes, ending March 26.
